Job summary

Sienna Senior Living in Rockland, Ontario is seeking a full-time Bus Driver to transport residents safely and reliably between Aspira Rockland Manor and Aspira Berabrook Retirement Living. The shift runs 9:30am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed, and a pay rate of $19.11 per hour.

You will assist residents getting on and off the bus, perform basic safety checks, maintain the vehicle, and support daily living by providing respectful, courteous transportation as part of a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A provincial bus driving permit valid for operation.
• Clean driving record and abstract.
• 1–2 years of driving experience.
• Clear English communication, both verbal and written.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Must pass Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
• Sienna Senior Living may use AI to screen applicants.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to scheduled activities and assist with boarding and alighting safely.
• Observe speed limits and road signs to ensure safety.
• Perform basic bus maintenance checks and keep the bus clean.
• Handle related duties to maintain service quality and continuity.

What makes you a great fit?

• Transporting residents to scheduled activities and assists residents when they are getting on or off the bus and when they cross the street when the bus is stopped to ensure their safety
• Observing the speed limit and road signs
• Ensuring the maintenance of the bus such as filling the gas tank and windshield washer fluid, checking tire pressure, checking the oil and the cleanliness of the bus
• Maintaining the internal cleanliness of the bus
• Carrying out, if needed, all related tasks in order to ensure the continuity and the quality of the services.
• Performing other duties as assigned

What You Need To Know

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Appropriate provincial driving permit for a bus
• Clean Driv ers Abstract
• 1-2 years of experience as a driver
• Must have effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Experience in customer service
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
• You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
