Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a part-time Bus Driver for Aspira Kingsmere Retirement in Ontario. You will provide safe, reliable transportation to residents, helping them attend activities and appointments.

The role requires a provincial bus driving permit, a clean driving record, and 1–2 years of driving experience plus strong English communication and customer service. Benefits include competitive salary and wellbeing programs.

• Clean driver’s abstract.
• 1–2 years of driving experience.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Experience in customer service.
• Eligible to work in Canada or holding a valid permit.
• Pass Vulnerable Sector Check & Criminal Records Check.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to scheduled activities and assist with boarding.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and perform basic vehicle checks.
• Ensure resident safety and comfort during transit.
• Support the team to deliver high-quality resident experiences.

By ensuring timely arrivals and a comfortable, secure journey, you help create positive experiences every day. What makes you a great fit?

• Transporting residents to scheduled activities and assists residents when they are getting on or off the bus and when they cross the street when the bus is stopped to ensure their safety
• Observing the speed limit and road signs
• Ensuring the maintenance of the bus such as filling the gas tank and windshield washer fluid, checking tire pressure, checking the oil and the cleanliness of the bus
• Maintaining the internal cleanliness of the bus
• Carrying out, if needed, all related tasks in order to ensure the continuity and the quality of the services.
• Performing other duties as assigned

What You Need To Know

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Appropriate provincial driving permit for a bus
• Clean Drivers Abstract
• 1-2 years of experience as a driver
• Must have effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Experience in customer service
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
• You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
