Dyno Nobel is hiring a Bulk Truck Operator for Detour Lake Mine. You will operate all Dyno Nobel trucks and related equipment to prepare and deliver bulk products safely, on time, and in accordance with site rules.

Responsibilities include loading, delivering, unloading, and maintaining quality, plus keeping accurate usage reports. A High School diploma, Class 3, and a DZ or AZ license are required, with outdoor work and strong customer service skills essential.

Job Brief

As the Bulk Truck Operator, you will operate all types of Dyno Nobel trucks and specialty equipment to prepare and deliver company explosive products to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner at Detour Lake Mine.

What You’ll Do

As the Bulk Truck Operator, you are responsible for ensuring, in a safe and efficient manner, the preparation and delivery of bulk products to clients at Detour Lake Mine. These tasks must be done in compliance with the site’s HSE process and regulations. Other duties will include:

• Ensure the safe delivery of bulk explosives to the customer.
• Load, deliver and unload bulk explosives products to the customer’s requirements.
• Load, deliver and unload packaged products to the customer’s requirements.
• Operate bulk products delivery equipment.
• Ensure and maintain the quality level of bulk explosive products while making mixtures following company’s instructions and specifications.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with products and services.
• Participate in the maintenance and repair of the company’s facilities, vehicles and equipment.
• Keep accurate reports of products used in each borehole.
• The mine will provide camp rooms.
