Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Bulk Truck Operator for the Detour Lake Mine in Canada. You will ensure the safe preparation and delivery of bulk products to clients in compliance with site HSE processes, while following the company’s instructions and specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Class 3 and DZ/AZ licenses, mechanical skills, and the ability to work outside in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe delivery of bulk explosives to the customer.
• Load, deliver and unload bulk explosives products to the customer’s requirements.
• Load, deliver and unload packaged products to the customer’s requirements.
• Operate bulk products delivery equipment.
• Ensure and maintain the quality level of bulk explosive products while following company instructions and specifications.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with products and services.
• Participate in the maintenance and repair of the company’s facilities, vehicles and equipment.
• Keep accurate reports of products used in each borehole.

What You’ll Do

As the Bulk Truck Operator, you are responsible for ensuring, in a safe and efficient manner, the preparation and delivery of bulk products to clients at Detour Lake Mine. These tasks must be done in compliance with the site’s HSE process and regulations. Other duties will include:

• Ensure the safe delivery of bulk explosives to the customer.
• Load, deliver and unload bulk explosives products to the customer’s requirements
• Load, deliver and unload packaged products to the customer’s requirements
• Operate bulk products delivery equipment
• Ensure and maintain the quality level of bulk explosive products while making mixtures following company’s instructions and specifications
• Ensure customers are satisfied with products and services
• Participate in the maintenance and repair of the company’s facilities, vehicles and equipment.
• Keep accurate reports of products used in each borehole
• The mine will provide camp rooms
