CIMA+ is seeking a Buildings Engineering Project Manager in Western Canada to lead mid to large-scale projects within a dynamic, collaborative team. You will shape project delivery across design, construction, and client interactions, leveraging multidisciplinary expertise and proven PM capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering and 5+ years as a Project Manager or Coordinator.
• Registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (P.Eng) or able to obtain.
• Skilled in work organization and teamwork in a changing environment.
• Excel in critical thinking.
• Ability to read and understand engineering plans and technical specifications.
• PMP designation is an asset.
• Exposure to engineering consulting organizations.
• Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Integrity, team spirit, and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison to ensure open lines of communication.
• Carrying out multidisciplinary coordination and follow-up with clients for mid to large-scale projects.
• Lead and support multidisciplinary proposals and other business development activities.
• Identify and monitor issues affecting budgets and timelines within milestones.
• Manage clients/consultants/contractors/suppliers and respond to technical inquiries.
• Manage the process of calls for tenders, awarding and negotiation of contracts.
• Assemble, manage and deliver construction contracts and professional scopes of work.
• Oversee overall project management activities including cost, scheduling, procurement and permitting.
