Job summary

Bruneau Group (Gestrago) seeks a Maintenance Coordinator to plan and execute maintenance for buildings and infrastructure in the Greater Montreal, North Shore, and Lanaudière regions. You will drive preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure real estate assets perform at a high level.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will coordinate internal resources and suppliers, supervise technicians and subcontractors, and optimize operating costs while ensuring compliance with the Building Code

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in building electromechanics or maintenance.
• Experience in planning and managing maintenance programs (Preventive and corrective).
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and work order management skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance inventory management.
• Organizational skills, rigor, and autonomy.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal service requests within the group.
• Follow up on agreements with suppliers (maintenance, ventilation, electricity, snow removal, etc.).
• Plan and coordinate maintenance and repair work (minor and major).
• Maintain and update a list of authorized suppliers.
• Establish priorities and manage work orders effectively.
• Supervise the work of technicians and subcontractors (electricians, plumbers, etc.).
• Request quotes and recommend the best options.
• Ensure compliance with the Building Code and applicable standards.
• Manage commercial leases and tenant relations.
• Monitor costs, analyze needs, and produce performance indicators.
• Propose innovative solutions to optimize operating costs.
• Coordinate environmental aspects related to projects.
