Job summary

Gestion Zagora in Moncton, NB is seeking a full-time Residential Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. You will perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and appliances, diagnose repairs, and coordinate with managers and contractors to keep residences safe and well-maintained.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong DIY skills in plumbing, electrical, drywall, and carpentry, with a proactive and organized approach to work under pressure and a dedication to resident

Qualifications

• Experience with drywall installation, plastering, and painting.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• HVAC experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance programs to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly to urgent service requests to minimize resident inconvenience.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory of parts.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and local regulations.
• Identify and implement maintenance improvements to enhance operations and resident satisfaction.
• Collaborate with property managers, contractors, and team members for coordinated tasks.

Operating for over 5 years, the company owns and manages several residential properties across Montreal, the South Shore, Gatineau, Quebec City, and Cornwall. As part of our continued growth, we are looking to expand our team and reach new heights.

We are currently seeking a full-time Residential Maintenance Technician to join our property management team in Moncton, New Brunswick. You will play a key role as an essential contributor to our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance programs to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment such as HVAC systems and appliances.
• Diagnose and perform repairs efficiently, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly and effectively to urgent service requests to minimize inconvenience for residents.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and inventory of parts.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and local regulations to maintain a safe living environment.
• Identify and implement improvements to optimize maintenance operations and enhance resident satisfaction.
• Work closely with property managers, contractors, and team members to ensure efficient coordination of tasks.
