Job summary

Clutch is hiring a maintenance technician to perform general repairs, inspect facilities, and support senior technicians. This on-site role in Mississauga Canada focuses on doors, drywall, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and painting tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency for a growing team.

You will assist with inventory, organize tools, and respond to maintenance requests promptly, contributing to a well-maintained workspace and smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • General maintenance and repair experience across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting.
  • Proficient with hand and power tools (drills, saws, wrenches).
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
  • Team-oriented with willingness to learn from seniors.
  • Detail-oriented with accurate, efficient task completion.
  • Physically capable of lifting and standing for long periods.
  • Flexible schedule; minimum 40 hours; adaptable to company needs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general repairs such as fixing doors, patching drywall, repairing leaks, replacing light fixtures, and painting.

  • Support inventory management by organizing tools, supplies, and maintenance equipment.
  • Assist senior technicians with more complex repair projects to learn best practices.

What you’ll do:
  • Perform general repairs such as fixing doors, patching drywall, repairing leaks, replacing light fixtures, and painting.

What we’re looking for:
  • Handyman Skills & Repair Knowledge: Basic experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and general building maintenance.
  • Proficiency with Hand and Power Tools: Comfortable using tools such as drills, saws, wrenches, and other equipment used in repairs.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Team Player: Works well in a collaborative environment, supporting and learning from senior technicians while contributing to the team's success.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for spotting maintenance issues and ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Physical Readiness: Capable of lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks

  • Flexible Schedule: Ability to work minimum 40 hours on flexible hours based on company needs.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary range: $25 per hour
