Job summary

Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a Health Care Social Worker B (BSW) for the Restorative Care unit in the Northern Zone. You will join an interdisciplinary team delivering holistic, client-centered care and addressing psychosocial wellbeing across the care continuum.

Required: a Bachelor's in Social Work, current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers, and at least two years of post-BSW clinical experience; travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) required.
• Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers.
• Minimum two years' post-BSW clinical experience; when less, candidates may be considered for developmental track.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic care within an interdisciplinary team across the care continuum.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and plan/intervene/evaluate accordingly.
• Assist patients and families in navigating community resources and agencies.
