Job summary

Nova Scotia Health Authority seeks a Healthcare Social Worker (Masters) for the Central Zone, Rehabilitation and Arthritis Centre at QEII, to provide psychosocial assessments, crisis counselling, resource planning and discharge planning within an interdisciplinary team. Requires MSW and NSCSW registration eligibility, a minimum of two years’ clinical experience, and strong counselling and communication skills.

BCLS certification is required; French language skills are an asset.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work from a recognized university.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the NSCSW.
• Two or more years of clinical social work experience.
• BCLS certification.

Responsibilities
