Job Description

We are currently searching for a Bridge Technologist in our Calgary office.

The successful candidate will work with engineers and other technologists to provide design and drafting services for a variety of public and private sector clients, focusing on bridges, municipal structures, and transportation-related infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating technical drawings using CAD software for bridge, roadway, and aviation projects from concept to detailed design.
• Revising drawings based on feedback from team members.
• Ensuring compliance with drafting standards.
• Preparing and exporting drawings for project submissions.
• Managing CAD files for accessibility and organization.

Job Requirements

What you will bring:

• A diploma in civil engineering or engineering design and drafting from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of experience in bridge design and drafting (steel, concrete, timber).
• Experience with Alberta Transportation guidelines is an asset.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Revit, Sketchup, or other 3D software is an asset.
• Consulting experience is an asset.
• Registration or eligibility for registration with ASET.
