Entuitive is looking for a Junior Structural Technologist, based in our Calgary or Edmonton office. Take the opportunity to learn more about the structural engineering services at Entuitive. We are passionate about our work and the talented individuals who deliver complex projects regularly.

What will you do?

• Structural BIM modelling and project coordination. Working with the Project Principal, Project Engineer, and other design team members, you will complete projects of varying size and complexity from start to finish.
• Assist other Project CAD/BIM Technologists in completing work for their project deadlines when workload requires.
• Coordinate responsibilities related to managing and producing drawings for structural projects, including managing files, directories, and inter-discipline coordination with outside parties.
• Support the creation of standards and methods to advance BIM technologies.
• Work with the project team from initial evaluation through design to construction completion.

Requirements

• An applicable degree or diploma in architectural or engineering technology.
• Educational or work experience in drafting and designing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Interest in applying new technology to support project processes.
• Construction experience or work with existing facilities is an asset.
• Interest or knowledge related to embodied carbon is an asset.
