Job summary

The Brick, part of the LFL Group, seeks a Designer, Sales to blend creative brick design with strategic account development across Canada. You will translate client specifications into innovative brick concepts and communicate value to architects, contractors, and interior designers.

Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure feasibility, stay current with trends, and pursue new business opportunities through networking and proposals. Fluency in English and French is preferred.

Qualifications

About the Role:

The Brick Designer, Sales role is a dynamic position focused on combining creative design expertise with strategic sales acumen to drive business growth within the construction and architectural sectors. The primary objective is to develop innovative brick design solutions that meet client specifications while effectively communicating the value proposition to prospective customers. This role requires close collaboration with clients, architects, and internal teams to ensure that design concepts align with market trends and client needs. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding the company’s market presence across Canada by identifying new sales opportunities and nurturing long-term client relationships. Ultimately, this position aims to deliver customized brick design solutions that enhance project outcomes and contribute to the company’s revenue targets.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales within the construction materials or architectural design industry.
  • Strong understanding of brick materials, design principles, and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CAD software or other design tools relevant to brick and masonry design.
  • Previous success in a sales role targeting architects, builders, or contractors.
  • Knowledge of sustainable building practices and eco-friendly materials.
  • Fluency in both English and French to support bilingual client interactions.
  • Certification in sales or project management.
