Job summary

The Brick in Wetaskiwin, Canada is seeking a self-motivated Sales Manager who can lead a busy sales floor and drive performance with integrity, energy and a positive attitude. You will recruit, train and develop staff, manage daily store operations, schedule to meet provincial requirements, forecast sales targets, and resolve customer issues while maintaining high service standards at The Brick.

• Managing sales team; floor management
• Training and people development
• Interviewing and hiring
• Scheduling: ensuring provincial legislative requirements met
• Resolving customer issues
• Sales forecasting and ensuring targets are met
• Evaluating and managing daily, weekly, monthly quarterly sales reports
• Performance management and developing action plans
• Ensuring company policies and procedures are met
• Managing daily operations within the store
• Ensuring general safety and security of store and employees
• Shopping the competition
• Daily and weekly sales meetings
• Preparation and management of sales promotions and contests
• Other duties as assigned
