Job summary

Grifols Canada is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications to lead the Canadian communications program, protect and strengthen the company’s reputation, and align local messaging with the global strategy. Based in Toronto, you will collaborate with the Chief Communications Officer and the Canadian leadership team.

You will manage media relations, advise executives, coordinate crises and issues, develop local strategies, and ensure consistent messaging for Canadian stakeholders,

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of progressive senior experience in corporate communications, media relations and reputation management.
• Deep knowledge of the Canadian media landscape and stakeholder environment.
• Experience building and implementing corporate communications strategies in complex, highly visible organisations.
• Strong relationships with Canadian media and ability to advise senior executives.
• University degree in communications, journalism or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communications plans for Canada aligned with global strategy.
• Advise executive leadership and global team on relevant media and reputational developments.
• Translate global priorities into locally relevant content and messaging.
• Lead Canada media relations and act as main media contact.
• Monitor media landscape and provide timely updates to leadership.
• Coordinate communications on corporate milestones and partnerships in Canada.
