Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Manager, Branch & ABM Transformation to drive the Integrated Channel Strategy for the Retail Branch Channel. You will collaborate with Digital, Channel Performance, and Branch leadership to advance transformation priorities and ensure alignment with the bank’s risk and conduct standards.

The role requires senior-level project leadership, strong communication and stakeholder management in a complex, matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education; University Business Degree or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years experience in the Financial/Retail Banking sector (Retail Channels, Products & Services).
• Strong background in project management, program and change management practices.
• Solid background in developing communications, briefings and presentations to senior executives.
• Highly competent change agent with leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible thinker with ability to define trade-offs and solve complex problems.
• Advanced communication, facilitation and presentation skills with senior management and large teams.
• Proven ability to engage and manage stakeholders in a complex, matrix environment.
• Strong negotiation, managerial and strategic thinking skills.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities

• Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage bank-wide capabilities.
• Support design and execution of future priorities of the Branch Channel as part of the Integrated Channel Strategy.
• Coordinate with Channel Performance and Branch leadership on transformation execution.
• Identify and resolve roadblocks and dependencies impacting timelines and outcomes.
• Provide SME input for horizontal squads and coordinate with cross-functional partners.
• Advise executives and cross-functional teams on strategic roadmaps and collaboration across functions.
• Lead initiatives to foster high-performance and an inclusive work environment.
