Job summary

Timber-Tech Truss seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead the Lethbridge branch toward recovery, growth, and long-term success. The role combines hands-on operations with active customer-facing presence in Lethbridge and Southern Alberta, rebuilding revenue and strengthening builder relationships.

Reporting to the General Manager, the AGM partners on strategy, oversees operations, and represents the company at community events, driving profitability and safety across the branch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, or related field (or equivalent).
• 10–15 years of leadership experience in sales and operations, preferably in building materials or manufacturing.
• Proven track record of revenue growth and business recovery.
• Strong operational and production management experience.
• Established relationships within Lethbridge / Southern Alberta construction industry.
• Active involvement in the local business community.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Lethbridge branch's recovery, revenue growth, and profitability.
• Partner with General Manager to execute turnaround and growth strategy.
• Act as primary operational partner, stepping in during GM absence.
• Monitor revenue, margins, production targets, and adjust plans.
• Build long-term relationships with local builders, contractors, suppliers.
• Represent Timber-Tech Truss at industry events and community functions.
• Oversee daily branch operations, production scheduling, logistics, and quality.
• Ensure orders are produced and delivered on time and per quality standards.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to policies.
• Lead, coach, and develop branch staff across functions.
• Participate in Lethbridge business and building community activities.
• Strengthen Timber-Tech Truss's network in Southern Alberta.
• Other duties as assigned.
