Job summary

Dexter Group seeks a Branch Manager to oversee our trailer parts distribution branch in Canada. You will manage sales, customer service, distribution, warehouse, and delivery while leading a talented team to achieve growth and operational excellence.

The role requires 8+ years in distribution/logistics, 5+ years in leadership, and a strong grasp of WMS/ERP systems. You will drive safety, budgeting, and customer satisfaction in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent supervisory experience.
5+ years leadership experience managing a team of 10+ employees.
8+ years in distribution, logistics, or warehouse operations management.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

Oversee branch distribution operations, including sales, customer service, distribution, warehouse and delivery, and team management.
Manage budgets, financial metrics, and operational costs to meet organizational goals.
Lead with an entrepreneurial mindset to drive growth and operational excellence.
Make key decisions on staffing, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
Direct daily distribution operations and ensure alignment with safety standards.
Build strong customer relationships and ensure service excellence using data-driven insights.
