Job summary

Wolseley Canada in Halifax is seeking a Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations, align the team with company policy, and deliver exceptional service. You will direct Inside and Counter Sales and the warehouse, manage inventory and labor costs, and build strategic vendor partnerships to meet sales and trading objectives.

The role requires knowledge of Plumbing/HVAC products, proven leadership, and strong customer focus.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Plumbing/HVAC products preferred.
  • Proven leadership and team-building experience.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; AS400 is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day branch operations.
  • Direct and train Inside and Counter Sales and warehouse staff.
  • Ensure superior customer service and achieve sales objectives.
  • Develop vendor alliances and identify growth opportunities.
