Job summary

Nedco in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the local branch, drive sales strategies, manage staff and ensure service excellence in electrical distribution.

The role requires 3-5 years in electrical distribution, 2-3 years of supervisory experience, proficiency in MS Office, AS400 is a plus, and a strong business sense to meet fiscal targets. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• College education plus 3-5 years of related experience in the electrical distribution industry.
• At least 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• AS400 experience would be an asset.
• Experience in the sale of electrical products/industry.
• Minimum 3 years in the electrical industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and recommend sales strategies, marketing objectives, including sales volume and profit forecasts to the District Manager.
• Maintain and develop sales and profit objectives with assigned key accounts.
• Maintain accurate customer service measurement criteria and ensure compliance with customer service standards.
• Prepare work schedules to ensure workflow across all areas (including counter and inside sales).
• Hire personnel in the Branch in accordance with Company standards and procedures.
• Promote and maintain a positive work climate within the Branch.
• Ensure proper implementation and application of company policies and procedures (inventory control, delivery, billing and collection, security).
• Track inventory discrepancies and recommend remedial actions.
