Job summary

Leavitt Machinery is seeking a Branch Manager in Nanaimo, BC to oversee day-to-day operations, align departments with company goals, and drive profitability while delivering exceptional service.

The role requires leading a multi-disciplinary team, managing the branch P&L, and partnering with Sales and Rentals to grow the business, with a focus on safety and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a multi-departmental or branch management role.
• Strong financial literacy and business acumen with experience managing budgets and KPIs.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and build a high-performance culture.
• Experience in material handling, industrial equipment, or automotive service industries is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to drive customer engagement and resolve escalations effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business systems (ERP, CRM, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to travel is an asset

• Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team through regular coaching and performance reviews
• Chair the Branch Safety Committee and reinforce safety as a core daily value
• Encourage cross-functional cooperation and shared accountability across all roles and departments

The Opportunity

The base pay range for this role is: $130,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience, plus bonus.

This is an onsite role based in Nanaimo, BC.
