Leavitt Machinery in Nanaimo, BC is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, drive performance, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, manage budgets, and champion safety and continuous improvement in a fast-growing branch.

This onsite leadership role offers a base salary range of CAD 130,000–150,000 plus bonus, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to shape regional operations and customer success across the branch network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a multi-department or branch management role.
• Strong financial literacy and business acumen with budget and KPI experience.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and build a high-performance culture.
• Experience in material handling, industrial equipment, or automotive service is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day branch operations ensuring departments align with company goals.
• Partner with senior management to execute strategic initiatives.
• Manage branch P&L, review revenue, expenses and profitability.
• Analyze customer activity, identify gaps, and develop engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales and Rentals to develop new business and strengthen relationships.
• Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
• Chair Branch Safety Committee and reinforce safety as a core value.
• Encourage cross-functional cooperation and accountability.

The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a Branch Manager to join our team in Nanaimo BC. As the Branch Manager you will oversee branch operations to ensure optimal performance, customer satisfaction and financial results.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the day to day operations of the branch ensuring all departments function in alignment with company goals
• Partner with senior management and business unit leads to execute strategic initiatives
• Manage the branch profit & loss reviewing and optimizing revenue margins, expenses and profitability
• Analyze customer activity, identify service gaps and develop engagement strategies with business unit leads
• Partner with Sales and Rentals to develop new business, strengthen customer relationships and capture market opportunities
• Hire, lead and develop a high performing multi-disciplinary team through regular coaching and performance reviews
• Chair the Branch Safety Committee and reinforce safety as a core daily value
• Encourage cross functional cooperation and shared accountability across all roles and departments

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a multi departmental or branch management role
• Strong financial literacy and business acumen with experience managing budgets and KPIs
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and build a collaborative high performance culture
• Experience in material handling, industrial equipment or automotive service industries is an asset
• Demonstrated ability to drive customer engagement and resolve escalations effectively
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business systems ERP CRM etc
• Valid drivers license required
• Ability to travel is an asset

The base pay range for this role is 130000 to 150000 annually depending on experience plus bonus.

This is an onsite role based in Nanaimo BC.
