Job summary

TD Canada Trust in Calgary is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager Trainee to lead and coach branch staff toward operational excellence and client satisfaction. You will promote TD products, ensure regulatory compliance, and support daily branch operations to deliver a Legendary Experience.

This role includes mobility within the assigned district, potential relocation to other TD locations (e.g., Three Hills), and a structured training program to build leadership and financial advisory skills

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent required or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Completion of Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) and IFIC or CSC Course.
• Strong knowledge of team, process, and risk management.
• Proficiency with MS Office and standard internet applications.
• Excellent communication with customers, employees and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in completing investment and unsecured credit compliance transactions and complex activities.
• Coach advisory and frontline staff on resolving customer issues per guidelines.
• Resolve operational and high-risk issues while adhering to regulations and policies.
• Mentor team on advice-giving strategies and delivering customer experience.
• Ensure branch common areas and advisory spaces are welcoming and accessible for customers.
• Meet customer demands and regulatory requirements by managing scheduling.
