Job summary

BMO is seeking a Branch Manager to guide sales and service in its Montreal area. You will lead a high-performing team, develop goals, drive branch growth and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will coach staff, manage performance, build community relationships and collaborate with internal partners to maximize wallet share and profitability.

Qualifications

• Typically 5–7 years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree or equivalent
• Previous supervisory or management experience
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services
• In-depth knowledge of competitive marketplace and trends in product offerings
• In-depth knowledge of branch operations, policies and performance metrics
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Data-driven decision making and stakeholder alignment

Responsibilities

• Lead branch sales and service initiatives to achieve growth and wallet share
• Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize customer retention and acquisition
• Coach employees, manage performance and support career development
• Build and maintain a community network to improve visibility and referrals
