Job summary

Scotiabank in Canada is seeking a Branch Manager to drive profitability and growth of the branch's personal and business banking portfolios. You will lead a team, coach staff, and ensure risk management and policy compliance.

You will build strong client relationships through financial advice, develop talent, and implement initiatives aligned with the bank's standards. This role is based in Porcupine, Ontario and offers a comprehensive compensation plan.

Qualifications

Experience as a people manager and the ability to engage your team.
Experience in both personal and small business banking.
Solid sales management experience and the ability to market Scotiabank.
The ability to build strong relationships focused on providing a great client experience and growing relationships with existing customers.
A license to sell mutual funds.
Completed CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
Educational requirements to assume Branch Compliance Officer duties.

Responsibilities

Be passionate about leading and developing a team that builds customer relationships with financial advice.
Assist with building and strengthening existing and new customer relationships through coaching and observation.
Coach your team to success and manage risk for the Bank.
Oversee implementation of the Bank’s policies and procedures.
