Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking an Assistant Manager at the Alliston, Ontario branch to lead Retail Sales and Customer Service teams. You will drive client relationships, provide financial guidance and ensure initiatives align with branch goals.

You will coach staff, strengthen customer interactions, and actively engage with customers and partners to maintain a customer-focused culture while delivering results for the bank.

Qualifications

• Experience as a people manager and the ability to engage your team.
• Experience in personal banking.
• Demonstrated sales management experience and the ability to market Scotiabank.
• Ability to build strong relationships focused on client experience and existing customers.
• License to sell mutual funds.
• CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning or Bank recognized equivalent.
• Eligibility to act as Alternate Branch Compliance Officer.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Retail Sales and Customer Service teams in a Canadian Bank branch.
• Ensure business strategies, initiatives and goals are delivered to support team objectives.
• Coach staff to success at the branch and bank level.
