Job summary

Theatre Calgary is seeking a skilled Box Office Manager to lead daily box office operations, oversee ticketing and subscription sales, and optimize revenue within the Tessitura/TNEW environment. You will report to the Senior Manager of Patron Services and supervise a small team, ensuring a high-quality patron experience across all channels.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years experience with Tessitura, strong leadership and scheduling abilities, and excellent communication skills for internal

Qualifications

• Box Office and sales operations experience; performing arts preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Tessitura (or similar CRM).
• Strong staff scheduling aptitude.
• Effective self-directed learner.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer ticketing and subscription sales in Tessitura/TNEW.
• Oversee box office campaigns and pricing strategies.
• Maintain accurate ticketing data and season information.
• Coordinate reporting and dashboards with Senior Manager, Patron Services, Marketing and Finance.
• Lead Box Office staff and schedule shifts; provide backup during peaks.
• Ensure smooth patron experience and resolve escalated issues.
