Hancon Mining Division Inc. is seeking a dedicated underground mining operator to join our team in Matachewan or Timmins, Ontario on a full-time basis. The role involves safe operation of underground equipment and collaboration with the site team to maintain high safety standards.

Formación

• Underground mining experience required.
• Basic Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core Program (770010) with modules U0000, U0001, U0002, U00012, U00011, U0013 and U0024 as a minimum.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate an underground boom truck to transport materials, equipment, supplies, and other loads throughout the mine.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and ensure equipment is maintained in safe working condition.
• Load and unload material efficiently while maintaining safe loading practices.
• Participate in workplace inspections, safety meetings, and other site safety initiatives.
• All other duties as assigned.

Pay: $48.00 to $54.00 per hour
