Job summary

William Day Construction Limited in Timmins, Ontario is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate heavy machinery and support large-scale construction projects on site. The role requires experience with excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders, plus a valid G license and a solid safety record.

The position offers a 7 on/7 off schedule with days and nights, travel compensation if outside Timmins, and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to operate Caterpillar machinery or similar brands safely.
• Valid G class license with a clean driving record.

Wage: $32.00–$42.00/hour

Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off — Days & Nights

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Production Equipment Operators to join our dynamic mine site construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and other equipment essential for excavation and construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure efficient project progress while maintaining safety standards and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure developments and gain valuable experience in heavy equipment operations.
