William Day Construction Limited. is seeking a motivated Rock Truck Operator to join the Timmins site team. You will safely operate rock trucks, transport aggregates and materials, and help maintain project schedules on a large-scale construction and mining site.

The role emphasizes strict safety practices, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to days and nights on a 7-on/7-off schedule. Wages range from $29.00 to $31.47 per hour, with benefits and travel support for out-of-town candidates.

Location: Timmins, Ontario

Wage: $29.00–$31.47/hour

Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off — Days & Nights

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Rock Truck Operator to join our dynamic mine site construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating rock trucks to transport aggregate, soil, and other materials throughout construction and mining sites. Your expertise will help maintain efficient material movement, keep projects on schedule, and ensure that all work is completed safely and to the highest standards.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to operate modern heavy equipment while contributing to large-scale infrastructure and development projects and building valuable experience in the heavy equipment industry.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating rock trucks in a construction, mining, or similar environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform routine equipment inspections and identify basic mechanical issues.
• Experience operating or working around other heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, backhoes, or horizontal drills is an asset.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment and other heavy machinery brands.
• Strong understanding of construction and mine site safety standards and procedures.
• Valid G Class driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and follow strict safety procedures.
• Willingness to support other site operations and equipment activities when required.
