Job summary

FLINT in Prince George, BC, is seeking Journeyman Welders to join our safety-focused industrial crew. Read blueprints, weld with SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and MCAW, and maintain equipment on site.

You must hold a Journeyman Welder certification and relevant safety training. Valid Canadian work eligibility and a valid driver’s license are required. LOA-based positions are available with competitive daily pay.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Welder certification.
• Valid safety certifications: AWP, Fall Arrest, Confined Space, WHMIS.
• Industrial or mechanical experience.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.
• Bonus: Experience operating zoom boom, skid steer, forklift, or overhead crane.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Perform welding using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and MCAW techniques.
• Cut, grind, drill, and stamp materials as needed.
• Conduct equipment maintenance in line with company and industry standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Communicate project progress with your supervisor.
