Job summary

Penta Equipment in Glencoe, Ontario is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to own day-to-day billing, equipment financing, returns, and related transactions. You will work with the Controller to prepare invoices, maintain customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and complete month-end activities with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Two years of accounting, billing, or related administration experience.
• Experience using ERP or accounting systems to process transactions and maintain records.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication, sound judgement, and discretion handling financial information.
• A proactive approach to following through on outstanding items.
• Experience in manufacturing or equipment dealership environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue invoices for sales, service-related POs, and other customer transactions.
• Process discounts, credits, promotions, and adjustments.
• Create and maintain customer accounts, information, and payment terms in the ERP system.
• Manage transactions through ERP portals, including submitting invoices and documentation and reporting.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and respond to inquiries; collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Process equipment returns and related accounting transactions with appropriate approvals.
• Process employee expense claims and sales bonus payments accurately.
• Assist with general accounting and month-end activities.
• Maintain accurate records and seek efficiencies in processing and administration.
