Job summary

Canada Life is seeking a Training and Development Specialist to design, coordinate and deliver learning solutions for Contracting and Compensation operations. You will build knowledge across processes, products and policies, using classroom, virtual and coaching methods.

As a trusted SME, you will assess learning needs, develop content, coach learners and measure effectiveness. You will partner with leaders and SMEs to ensure training stays accurate, relevant and aligned with business

Qualifications

• Experience delivering instructor-led training in virtual, classroom, group and one-on-one settings.
• Ability to design, develop and maintain training materials and assessments.
• Knowledge of adult-learning principles and diverse learning styles.
• Experience identifying learning needs and creating coaching plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured training on Contracting and Compensation processes and supporting technology.
• Facilitate learning in various environments (virtual, in-person, classroom, small groups).
• Develop short- and long-term training plans with objectives and measures of success.
• Assess learning needs and identify knowledge gaps with business partners.
• Coach and mentor learners to reinforce learning and address performance gaps.
• Keep content updated and aligned with processes, policies and service expectations.
