Job summary

DMC Recruitment Group is seeking a Bilingual Technical Sales Representative to manage an established Ottawa Valley territory in Ontario. The role focuses on technical sales for building envelope products, supporting contractors, distributors and design professionals on site and in meetings.

You will leverage product knowledge, read plans, and provide quotes and estimates while growing relationships with an existing customer base.

Qualifications

• Experience in building envelope, waterproofing, membranes, insulation or related products.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Ability to read and understand plans, specs and construction documents.
• Experience preparing or supporting quotes and project estimates.
• Strong field presence with a solutions-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Autonomous, customer-focused with a team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an established and active sales territory in Ottawa Valley and surrounding markets.
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships with contractors, installers, architects, engineers and distributors.
• Identify new projects, contractors and opportunities; follow projects from opportunity to completion.
• Conduct regular field visits, provide hands-on technical support on job sites and answer product questions.
• Deliver technical presentations to architectural and engineering firms; read plans and specs.
• Educate distribution sales reps and train partners to win new business.
