Jobtailor in Montreal seeks a Benefits Administrator to respond to questions, assign requests, and manage pension and RRSP enrolments. You will handle benefits programs including wellness, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts, and maintain eligibility lists and invoices.

You will also support regulatory filings, document accuracy, and communications via Workday, with strong English/French proficiency and a professional, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
  • At least three years of experience in a benefits administration role.
  • Experience using Workday, particularly the Benefits module.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate-level Excel.
  • Strong time-management and planning skills to manage fluctuations in workload and meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Respond efficiently and accurately to questions submitted to the Total Rewards Centre of Expertise by email and through ServiceNow
  • Assign incoming requests to the appropriate team members
  • Process benefits-related requests for firm members and retirees
  • Administer benefits programs, including wellness programs, technology allowances, tuition reimbursement, corporate agreements, and employee discounts
  • Update eligibility lists with benefit providers
  • Process monthly invoices from benefits service providers
  • Provide logistical and administrative support to the team
  • Ensure the accuracy and accessibility of benefits information in documentation intended for members
  • Complete the Centre of Expertise's recurring monthly and annual activities within prescribed timelines
  • Lead benefits orientation sessions for new members, employees, and associates
  • Send relevant communications and complete follow-ups in Workday
  • Manage enrolments, transfers, and communications for pension plans and the group RRSP
  • Conduct weekly follow-up on RRSP enrolments and process settlements and estimates for the defined benefit pension plan
  • Support regulatory filings for pension plans in Ontario, British Columbia, and Quebec
  • Optimize benefits-related processes by creating standard operating procedures
  • Support the Total Rewards team's initiatives and projects

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or another relevant field, or equivalent education
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French, both spoken and written, is required
  • At least three years of experience in a similar benefits administration role
  • Proven experience using Workday, particularly the Benefits module
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate-level Excel skills
  • Excellent time-management and planning skills to manage fluctuations in workload and meet critical deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to completing responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with inflexible deadlines and adapt to the firm's changing needs
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
