Insight Global is seeking a Banking Operations Specialist to join a leading financial institution in Toronto. You will support daily processing of retail and commercial deposit and payment activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and SLA adherence.

The role requires 2–3+ years in banking/financial services operations, strong Excel/Office skills, and bilingual French-English communication. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders while upholding policies and regulatory

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of relevant experience within banking or financial services operations.
• Experience supporting deposit/payment operations, transaction processing, account servicing, or similar back-office banking functions.
• Bilingual French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of banking processes, controls, operational risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience identifying discrepancies, investigating issues, and following established escalation procedures.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and general MS Office skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while consistently meeting deadlines and SLAs.

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Banking Operations Specialist to join a leading financial institution. This individual will support the day-to-day processing and servicing of retail and commercial deposit and payment activities, ensuring transactions and service requests are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established service level agreements (SLAs).

The successful candidate will have experience within a banking or financial services operations environment and be comfortable handling transaction processing, account maintenance, documentation review, discrepancy resolution, and stakeholder inquiries. This individual will work closely with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring operational processes meet established policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
