Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking a bilingual Responsible Gaming Representative to join the Casino New Brunswick team on-site. You will educate the public on healthy gambling practices, assist visitors with inquiries, and connect individuals to support resources and self‑exclusion programs as part of a compassionate, confidential service.

The role requires fluency in English and French, post‑secondary education in social services or a related field, and at least two years of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and French (verbal) is essential
• Post-secondary education in social services, human services or counselling
• At least two years of customer service experience
• Experience with vulnerable populations is preferred
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Familiar with data entry and basic computer tasks (MS Office/Excel)
• Flexible availability: shifts 2pm–midnight, 7 days a week

Responsibilities

• Educate the public on healthy gambling practices and explain games
• Assess visitor needs to determine appropriate action
• Have compassionate, one-on-one conversations with guests who may be struggling
• Help guests enroll in the casino's voluntary self-exclusion program
• Contribute to a resource library of gambling-related materials and resources
