Consolidated Services Inc. in Canada seeks a bilingual Payroll Coordinator to manage the payroll for hourly craft employees across Edmonton, Montreal, and Ottawa offices. You will handle hires, changes, terminations and transfers while ensuring Quebec payroll compliance and timely remittances.

Fluency in French and English is required. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality and strong stakeholder collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French and English.
• Minimum two years of unionized payroll administration experience (Quebec).
• Intermediate knowledge of payroll processes, statutory laws and labour agreements.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements to payroll.
• Experience with monthly, quarterly and annual remittances.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient in MS Office and automated payroll processing systems.
• PCP certification desirable; JDE/Oracle asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all employee payroll information to keep it current and accurate.
• Processes hires, changes, terminations and transfers for hourly craft employees.
• Prepares and processes weekly multi-provincial payroll including Quebec.
• Ensures compliance with government legislation and collective agreements.
• Maintains payroll system setup and reconciles benefit liabilities.
• Prepares payroll year-end reporting (Relevé1s, T4s, T2200s).
• Builds strong stakeholder relationships and supports teammates.
