Job summary

Empire Life Insurance is seeking a bilingual New Business Specialist to join our Group Operations team in Canada. You will monitor implementations, resolve contract/workflow questions, and liaise with customers and distribution partners to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

The role requires a Business Administration degree or relevant experience, 1+ year in insurance/financial services, and strong English/French communication. Competitive total rewards accompany permanent roles.

Qualifications

Degree in Business Administration (or related field) or relevant college/work experience.
1+ years in insurance/financial services or office environment.
Experience in a customer facing role.
Working knowledge of group products, contract provisions and administrative procedures.
Bilingualism (English/French) required.
Ability to present information clearly to various audiences.

Responsibilities

Monitor multiple implementations and provide updates to customers and distribution partners.
Apply knowledge of systems, products, processes to resolve implementation challenges.
Work with distribution partners and customers to ensure complete/accurate information.
Manage end-to-end implementation with New Business Coordinators to meet commitments.
Create a strong first impression of Empire Life with professionalism and courtesy.
Evaluate information and communicate decisions for a smooth client process.
Collaborate with peers to establish special contract or booklet presentations as needed.
Liaise with end customers, distribution partners, and other business units.
Support service and administrative requirements of the business unit.
