Job summary

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) is seeking a bilingual specialist to lead the day-to-day servicing of complex multi-unit mortgage applications within a newly formed MU servicing function. You will analyze risk, negotiate options with clients, and guide decisions to protect CMHC’s interests while maintaining high service standards.

The role offers a temporary position up to 24 months, hybrid work arrangement across CMHC offices, and opportunities for growth through collaboration

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business administration or commerce with accounting/finance or property management.
• Minimum five years in MU underwriting, real estate appraisal, or default management.
• Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in both French and English with negotiation ability.

Responsibilities

• Review MU servicing requests and ensure CMHC risk is not increased.
• Coordinate activities for MU servicing portfolio across projects.
• Conduct financial analysis of borrowers and properties to maintain CMHC security.
• Provide guidance and innovative solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage complex client relationships.
