Position Summary:

Reporting to the Manager, IT, this position provides support to our internal associates and the IT team.

Position Functions:

1. Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications
2. Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, phones (mobile & landline), and printers for new employees
3. Provide mobile phone support (iPhones & Androids)
4. Perform administration and training for WebEx users
5. Troubleshoot basic connectivity issues, servers, and network equipment
6. Provision/Deactivate accounts on the domain
7. Perform basic administration duties on the Cisco phone system
8. Prepare monthly reports to identify upcoming expiration of domain registrations, software renewals, and hardware warranty renewals
9. Track software licensing counts
10. Arrange for sale of old hardware
11. Contribute to the knowledge base by creating user guides and documentation for known issues
12. Gain a basic understanding of key business-specific applications in order to provide ‘value-add’ technical support

Minimum Qualifications:

1. University or college degree in Computer Systems Technology or related field is an asset
2. Basic knowledge of IT hardware including PCs, switches, printers, mobile devices
3. Bilingual, English and French
4. Experience with desktop operating systems and applications
5. Basic Microsoft application support experience (i.e. Office, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics CRM, SharePoint)
6. Basic network knowledge and network troubleshooting skills
7. Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities
8. Experience in InTune, Carbon Black, SharePoint, and Xerox DocuShare are assets
9. Strong written and oral communication skills
10. Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills
11. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
12. 2-3 years of experience in IT support
