As a key member of our Go-To Market team, your mission is to ignite success within your assigned territory. This involves understanding each opportunity and project deeply, grasping their unique needs, visions, and goals. You'll become an expert on Vortex products and solutions, guiding customers through our sales process with finesse. Your proactive approach, strong communication skills, and attention to detail will ensure seamless coordination and execution at every step.

You will collaborate closely with both our direct and indirect sales channels, fostering strong partnerships and leveraging collective expertise to drive results. You will work in a cross-disciplinary and collaborative manner with colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand Vortex's business objectives, sales processes, customer journey, and overarching goals.
  • Monitor sales dashboards and territory sales targets to accelerate opportunity development, collaborating with the outside sales team.
  • Use proactive strategic approaches to speed up the customer buying journey and influence favorable outcomes.
  • Familiarize yourself with the specifics of designated territories.
  • Build strategic partnerships with stakeholders within your assigned territories, understanding each entity's operational methodologies as key success factors.
  • Act as a liaison between external sales teams, customers, and internal departments—including project development, logistics, accounting, and customer service—organizing meetings to clarify project details or gather additional information.
  • Review incoming documents from customers and partners (e.g., PIDs, drawings, sketches) to verify completeness and accuracy.
  • Assess the feasibility of project requests and ensure all required information is accurate and complete to initiate internal processes.
  • Create and maintain virtual project folders and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) opportunities.
  • Develop quotations and proposals efficiently using sales tools such as CRM, product configurators, and digital proposal platforms.
  • Review all outgoing customer documentation for accuracy and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Collect essential data for order placement and input it meticulously into the CRM and related systems.

Qualifications:

  • University or college degree in Business or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally involving complex sales.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Building strong relationships is central. You solve problems and create value for partners and customers, making their success your success.
  • Business Acumen: You understand broader business goals, aligning your approach with strategic objectives to contribute to long-term success.
