Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. in Brampton, ON is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support LATAM operations. You’ll manage onboarding to offboarding for corporate staff and shop teams, handle employee relations, payroll changes, leaves, and policy communications.

You’ll ensure compliance with Ontario ESA, OHSA and Human Rights Code, maintain Workday records, and contribute to a fast-paced, growth-oriented HR team within a large North American carrier.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
• 2-4 years of HR Generalist or HR Coordinator experience.
• Experience with HRIS data entry; Workday is an asset.
• Knowledge of Ontario employment legislation (ESA, OHSA, Human Rights Code).
• Degree or diploma in HR or related field; CHRP designation is an asset.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or high-volume multi-site environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters.
• Support full employee lifecycle from onboarding to off-boarding for corporate staff and shop/warehouse teams.
• Assist with employee relations, investigations, and performance improvement plans.
• Coordinate onboarding, paperwork, system setup, and first-day logistics.
• Maintain accurate Workday records for hires, changes, transfers, and terminations.
• Prepare HR documents such as letters and policy acknowledgements.
• Assist with payroll changes, leaves, and benefits coordination.
• Support training, policy communication, and HR reporting.
