Job summary

Pet Valu is seeking a Bilingual Help Desk Analyst for a remote role based in New Brunswick. The role provides bilingual customer and technical support for POS and head office systems, with testing of new POS releases and training assistance.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage tickets, and ensure smooth operations across stores, warehouses, and head office. Requirements include a High School Diploma, college tech/business diploma preferred, 1–2 years help

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• College diploma in technology or business-related field preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in help desk support.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Retail experience with a POS system is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive calls from end-users (store, warehouse, and head office) for POS and head office systems support.
• Maintain and track tickets using the call tracking software.
• Test new POS releases (Microsoft Dynamics Navision – LS Retail).
• Test store flyers to ensure promotional pricing is correctly charged at POS before release.
• Initiate service calls for malfunctioning store systems including POS hardware and network equipment.
