Job summary

Zero To One Strategic is seeking a bilingual Grants Specialist to manage and execute grant strategies across a large portfolio of active clients. You will oversee opportunities, coordinate contractors and internal resources, communicate with funding agencies, review and edit submissions, and ensure on-time, high-quality applications.

The role emphasizes client management, opportunity oversight, and ownership of funding outcomes, not grant writing alone.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in grants, funding advisory, or related roles.
• Experience managing a high volume of clients or projects simultaneously.
• Strong editing, review and QC skills.
• Solid understanding of Canadian government funding programs.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using modern AI-assisted productivity tools.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
• English and French speaking and writing skills are required.
• Startup or scale-up experience is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of 50+ active clients with ongoing grant strategies.
• Coordinate internal and external grant writers and SMEs.
• Review, edit, and quality check all submissions before final delivery.
• Communicate with funding agencies and track deadlines.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, SR&ED, and other internal teams for a client-first funding experience.
