Job summary

Zero To One Strategic in Canada seeks a Bilingual Grants Specialist to manage and execute grant strategies across a large portfolio of active clients. This role focuses on client management, opportunity oversight, and ownership of funding outcomes, not grant writing alone.

You will coordinate internal and external writers, review submissions for timeliness and quality, and collaborate with founders and technical leaders to convert strategy into fundable opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in grants, funding advisory, or related roles.
• Experience managing a high volume of clients or projects simultaneously.
• Strong editing, review and QC skills.
• Solid understanding of Canadian government funding programs (federal/provincial/municipal).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of 50+ active clients with ongoing grant strategies.
• Coordinate internal and external grant writers and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality submissions.
• Review, edit, and quality check all submissions before final delivery.
• Track deadlines, submission status, and outcomes across your portfolio.
• Collaborate with founders and leadership to translate priorities into fundable grant strategies.
