Job summary

Regulvar Canada Inc. is seeking an Energy Metering Sales Representative to lead business development for energy metering solutions across Canada and the United States.

The role combines consultative selling, account development, and cross-functional collaboration to grow revenue and strengthen customer relationships. You will travel regularly to advance opportunities, support key accounts, and contribute to annual sales targets, working with technical, estimating, project delivery, and marketing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical diploma in a related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in related field.
• Fluent in French and English (advanced level), both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with customers, consultants, contractors, utilities, and partners.
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Build long-term client relationships by delivering responsive, solutions-focused support.
• Present tailored energy metering solutions and communicate their benefits.
• Prepare accurate, competitive proposals aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Collaborate with technical, estimating, project delivery, and marketing teams to ensure practical, accurate, and competitive solutions.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, provide reliable revenue forecasts, and support account and territory planning.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Represent Regulvar at meetings, industry events, trade shows, and other BD activities.
• Travel throughout the territory to advance opportunities and support key accounts.
