Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking a Client Service Representative in Ottawa to respond to client inquiries via telephone, email, and chat in both official languages. You will resolve issues quickly while maintaining confidentiality and security protocols.

You will support online registrations, password resets and account actions, while developing product knowledge to assist cross-selling opportunities and referrals within the Bank's MD Financial Management suite.

Qualifications

• University degree in business, commerce or equivalent.
• Front-line experience within a contact center environment preferred in financial services.
• Ability to communicate fluently in both official languages (English and French).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and provide timely resolution to client telephone, email, and online chat inquiries in both official languages.
• Perform online registration, password resets and account deactivation with strict adherence to security protocols.
• Maintain knowledge of MD Financial Management products and services and support cross-selling and referrals.
