Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Bid Director to lead strategy and execution of major Design-Build and Alternative Procurement pursuits in Toronto. You will own opportunities from pursuit strategy through contract award and transition to project execution, coordinating senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams to drive competitive bids.

This senior role requires extensive experience in major pursuits, commercial strategy, and risk management, with a track record of delivering successful award outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in construction, preconstruction, or pursuits leadership.
• Experience leading major Design-Build or Alternative Procurement pursuits.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary pursuit teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen in pricing, contract strategy, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead full pursuit lifecycle for major opportunities from assessment to award and transition.
• Develop and drive winning pursuit strategies aligned with objectives and market conditions.
• Provide strategic leadership to multidisciplinary pursuit teams across functions.
• Partner with senior leadership on key pursuit decisions including pricing and risk.
• Lead development of commercial and pricing strategies with estimating and commercial teams.
• Identify and manage pursuit risks and opportunities with mitigation plans.
• Understand client objectives and procurement drivers to shape Ledcor's value proposition.
• Lead pursuit strategy sessions, executive reviews, client presentations, and interviews.
• Establish pursuit governance, schedules, and accountability for submission quality.
• Lead transition from pursuit to project execution and capture lessons learned.
