Job summary

Ledcor Group in Ontario seeks a Senior Project Manager to drive pursuits and proposals for large-scale infrastructure projects from Etobicoke. You will shape strategies, develop executable plans, and coordinate with owners, designers and delivery partners to position Ledcor for success.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage risk, oversee estimates and subcontracting, and present to clients as a trusted partner in Alliance and other delivery models.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of combined technical and pre-construction experience focused on large, complex infrastructure projects across pursuits/bids.
• Post-secondary education in civil engineering or related field preferred.
• Direct on-site experience on major infrastructure projects $1B+ (heavy civil, transportation).
• Experience delivering major infrastructure projects under Alliance, Progressive Design-Build, CMGC, Design-Build, or other collaborative/alternative delivery models.
• Strong understanding of collaborative contracting principles, including integrated risk management, owner-partner engagement, and consensus-based decision-making in alternative delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project execution planning.
• Experience with first principles estimating.
• Proficiency with project management tools like Excel, MS Project, and Bluebeam.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and present to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support pursuits and bid activities, including RFP reviews, strategy development, and go/no-go input.
• Develop competitive and executable proposals, including construction methodologies, schedules, resourcing plans, and cost inputs.
• Lead collaborative planning and coordination with owners, designers, and delivery partners for Alliance, Progressive Design-Build, and other delivery models.
• Contribute to integrated delivery strategies, including risk management, commercial alignment, and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee quantity take-offs, scope development, and subcontracting strategies for civil, earthworks, and utility work.
• Collaborate with estimating, design, and operations teams to ensure aligned, risk-aware submissions.
• Participate in client presentations and interviews to position Ledcor as a preferred partner.
• Review and manage contracts, scope, schedule, budget, and commercial requirements.
• Develop and implement detailed execution plans, including staging, sequencing, and logistics.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships across pursuits.
• Oversee procurement of subcontractors, ensuring alignment with scope & schedule.
